Okay, this will probably be more of a rant than anything. >.< But here it goes!

Once I turned the lovely age of thirteen, I didn't know that one of my favorite holidays would be taken away from me. No matter how hard I tried, for years I have been shamed upon as being a young female at halloween time. You'd think that there would be one decent costume under that 'Women's Costumes' category, but noooo...

I was appalled.

One year I had choices of being a witch or a doctor for Halloween, and then the next year I had to choose from "Sassy Snow White" or "Sexy Nurse".

Okay, for one thing... I would be in huge trouble if I decided to be one of the latter choices.

And two: DO YOU KNOW HOW FREEZING HALLOWEEN NIGHT IS? NO, I DO NOT WANT TO CATCH MENINGITIS OR WHATEVER. YES, I ACTUALLY WANT MY THIGHS COVERED!

I just don't understand why girls' halloween costumes have to be so sexist. They basically throw us a few pieces of fabrics and call it a costume.

Yes, I want a cool costume. No, I do not want to be half naked.

It's a good thing I'm open to face painting or going as a character from a movie/book, or else I would be hopeless.

Yes, it has been a hard few years, but I have managed. Honestly, I don't even dare to walk into a halloween store or go online to look for one. I already know I'm not going to buy one, I don't dare to.

Plus, why can't the models look a little more natural? What they do is try to get this thought inside your head that you are going to look exactly like that photoshopped model. I'm sorry, but nobody looks like that.

I'm just really sick of the costume selection for young women, it's quite annoying. Am I the only one or do you guys agree with me? Please let me know what you think.

Thanks for reading. <3

Yes... of all the topics I could choose, I choose the one that connects to the root of all rants: Life.

You know what I really hate about life? It gives you something, then takes it away from you. Just like that. I know there is a reason for everything, and I know God knows the way... but please. Please just let me talk about life in a metaphoric way that makes "life" a noun- thank you.

I just... UGH. I hate you, Life.

I hate that you gave me someone who made me the happiest person in who could ever live. Then, just like that... with the snap of your pesky fingers, you took that someone away from me. And you know what else? I hate the fact that you, Life, sat there while we tried to make things work and just laughed when it didn't.

 I'm trying here, okay?

You don't understand, Life. You don't understand what it is like to have someone who makes you feel so many things... from anger to excitement; from hurt to love... That person made me feel alive. Isn't that funny? Aren't you the one who is suppose to make me feel alive, Life? Well, guess again.

That person, the one I chose over and over again (who I continue to choose), you didn't allow me to choose- you wouldn't give me a choice! You just decided for yourself that this was how it was going to end and that was it. Why did it have to end? Why couldn't things go as they planned? Why must you mock me like this? I bet you enjoy my tears, I bet you enjoy the frustration I feel when I tug at my hair. I bet you devour every second of sobbing and pleading and begging. I bet you just love seeing the hurt flash across my eyes when you took, not one, but two people away from me in a single year. Within months! ...You took her away from me, why did you do that?

I won't forgive you.

But I will forever be thankful for the things you let happen, and while they did.

And I won't give up, no matter how hard you push me.

xoxo,

it never works, in all honesty, because then I start to procrastinate when i'm on a time schedule. i procrastinate when something needs to be done, which never ends up getting done unless i feel i have some extra time on my hands.
oh, how i wish time was unlimited, or if only there wasn't such a thing. don't you agree? just think, if we didn't have a clock staring back at us all day long, wouldn't that be a little bit easier? most importantly, wouldn't that make your lazy days easier? wouldn't you want to close your eyes for a few moments without glances at the clock that reminds you of the things that need to be done but really don't need to be done right away?

life is a clock   we go in circles until it has had enough.

I do hope you don't mind my complaining and hatred toward time. -.- Hopefully some of you can agree with me.

Also, hopefully, I will be posting more often, and replying to my comments/emails more frequently...
  *crosses fingers*

I really want to get back into writing, and maybe complete a book by the end of the year. ;)

*crosses toes*

Hope you all are having an amazing May. <3

Today I want to talk about our physical features.

As human beings we tend to judge people by their appearance. Okay? It's just human nature, people.

There are two types of judgement;

1. Bad Judgement.

2. Good Judgement.

Some people mistake judgement as always bad judgement. Not all judgment is bad, but not all judgement is good either.

Here comes the part where I talk about our physical features.

Some people also mistake your body for who you really are. And you know what? No. Just no. You cannot pick your friends or enemies based on what they look like. You are NOT what you look like.

You are NOT your natural hair color.

You are NOT your skin color.

You are NOT your body shape.

You are NOT your fingers,

or toes.

You are NOT your eye color.

You are NOT the freckles across your cheeks.

You are NOT what you look like.

People need to take the time to get to know one another. Because, actually, you ARE;

The movies you like.

The books you read.

The way you wear your hair.

The way you like to dress.

Your interests and hobbies.

What you like to eat.

What you like to talk about.

The way you think.

...You get the point.

All I'm trying to say is; You are your soul, not your body. You are your inner being.

Now, as human beings, we need to focus on not judging a person by what they look like. Good judgement only. I know it is hard, but just think about who that person might really be if you get to know them. :)

And remember;

Always be you.

i miss you.

like a lot.

i miss you more than you could ever imagine.

i miss your beauteous smile.

your warm hands.

your pretty voice.

your comfort.

you, i miss you.

it hurts, it hurts not to know when we could be together again.

because you're there and i'm here.

my hand is reaching, our hands are reaching. they're so close yet so far away.

they're grasping for a touch. for a feel.

 to be intertwined with fingers.

my ears are longing, for a sound. a familiar yet strange [good] sound.

they want to hear, the voice to the person that makes me happy.

my eyes yearn to see that smile.

my arms long to be held in yours.

i, myself, deeply wish to be with your presence. again. and again.

because i [really] miss you.

thanks for reading this [mushy\cheesy] post rant.

^^^^

yeah, pretty much sums up my week.

Okay, *sings* rant timeeee!!!

[ that is not the definition of YOLO ]

When I was young(er) I used to... well, not hate... but I used to think teenagers were, well, teenagers. I did not want to be one, because that meant starting to grow up and acting all bossy... blah blah blah. But really, teenagers sometimes act more like little kids than little kids do! Trust me, I've seen it. And you wanna know what is so unfair?

The playgrounds.

Yup, I said it. Don't you all agree that the playgrounds in parks are just a slap in the face? They have the monkeybars that are the same height as most of us, so pretty much, we're walking while holding onto something above our heads. Hey, that actually might help us get better posture from sitting in bed on the internet all day-- and now I'm getting distracted. But seriously, don't you agree with me? The only thing teenagers are allowed on, are the swings at the park. Which isn't such a bad thing, because I love swings. :}
I was talking with my brother and I think one of my sisters ( I forget )  the other day, and we were saying how they should have a playground for big kids\grown-ups! Wouldn't that be so much fun? Now we don't have to get our faces slapped anymore! *cheers* yay! ... this rant about being a teenager is now turning into a rant about playgrounds. O.o *le sigh* Well, my point is... um, what is my point? Does anyone know?
I think what I'm trying to say is that teenagers are the most misunderstood people. We are expected to still act like kids but then wanted to grow up? I've had my mom tell me one day "Why don't you play anymore?" and then the next "You need to grow up." but how am I suppose to grow up when you said you don't want me to right yet? Sometimes I understand her point, but you're going to have to let go of me a little bit if you want me to grow up. And I'm not saying I want that, but it just makes it more reasonable. ...and I am probably not making sense whatsoever, plus this rant has nothing to do with the picture above. SO, with that, rant over.
I'm sorry, I just needed to get that out. :P And I am also sorry for this post being a day late... I was suppose to post it yesterday and I didn't. #lifeofaprocrastinator

Until next time! :)

P.s. ...a lot of my posts on here are about growing up. O.o
