"You are the meaning of life. If you're gone the meaning is gone. Please don't leave."

Isn't it funny how hospitals are where we begin our lives and where most of the time they end? I have realized that I absolutely, completely, utterly despise hospitals. Even the thought of them make my skin crawl and fear run through my body. Now, I've never spent a lot of time in hospitals throughout my life, but this summer I spent enough time to know that I now have an overwhelming fear of them. Sometimes when I smell or even imagine smelling a hospital scent (i.e. certain types of soap, hand sanitizer, etc.), my whole body freezes and I get this really icky feeling in my stomach... Like, remembering a memory you wish you could just erase forever. Because, that's what it is. It's a bad memory, and I wish I could just erase it from my brain... but I can't. With that said, I hope I never have to go to or see a hospital ever again.
I'm Sarah, an 18 year old who enjoys being creative and way too often laughs at the wrong moment. I'm a really heavy sleeper, I will probably always say yes to extra butter on my popcorn, and I'm always in the middle of more than one TV show on Netflix. (I watch whatever I'm in the mood for and finish it when I get around to it. haha)
MEET THE BLOG:
I started in over my head in May 2015, but have been blogging since November 2012. I blog my poetry, life updates, recent adventures I've had, or whatever else I want to write about.
haha oh gosh, I like so many things. Lately I've been fangirling over the Mockingjay Pt. 2 trailer!!, Taylor Swift, Panic! At The Disco, Dance Academy, Jurassic World, and twenty one pilots cover of "Can't Help Falling In Love".
SOME BLOGGER-TO-BLOGGER ADVICE:
If you don't put anything in, you won't get anything out. If you want to write, read. Not only might you find inspiration, reading also helps extend your vocabulary, which is always a plus, in my opinion. If you need inspiration for blogging, find new blogs that you like. If you enjoy more of a visual or hands-on creative pursuit (painting, drawing, snail mail, knitting, etc), search up what you like on Pinterest, or just look on blogs/social media/YouTube etc. for pictures or videos to help you feel inspired. There's lot's out there to discover and become inspired by. The possibilities are only as endless as you decide they are.
Isn't Sarah Awesome? Thank you so much for doing this! You guys should totally check out her blog, she's such a great person/friend. :) If anyone is interested in doing a guest post just check out this post. :) Or if you have any questions, just email me! I'll be sure to get back to you ASAP. <3

"My hands are tied behind my back, my mouth is forced shut- I am lost within the void."
Do you ever feel so completely lost, you have no idea how to fix whatever it is that needs fixing? Well, if your answer is yes then I know exactly how you feel. Countless of times I have felt as if I am just going through the motions, thinking about how everything could be fixed- but not exactly thinking, or doing anything. I just stand there and wonder... what if I had turkey instead of chicken for dinner? I think I need more cheese on my sandwich. However, that is not exactly what 'the void' is like. The void (as my Rosie would call it) is actually something quite different than feeling completely lost, it is a hole you want to crawl into and never come out of. The void is full of depressive doubt and self-hatred, it's so bad you almost never want to to leave. Kind of like candy, it's bad for you... but it tastes so good. Pretty awful, huh? But have no fear! As a real life survivor of 'the void', I shall tell you want you need to remember to get out of the deep, dark hole of negative thoughts.
Are you ready?
... It. Does. Not. Last. Forever.
You need to keep repeating this phrase over and over inside that pretty little head of yours. All of these icky, terrible thoughts and feelings do not last forever. So, what you need to do is simply go through it. It's okay to feel the way you do, and it's okay to talk to someone about it.
I apologize if this post was random/all over the place, but hopefully someone can comprehend what I wrote and have become inspired in some way...

MEET THE BLOG:
I started Life as a Young Lady in August 2013 as a school assignment. Over a year and a half later, I’ve got 51 (and counting) lovely followers, and blog about everything from Avengers *slight squeal* and clothes to uplifting music and self-esteem.
MEET THE BLOGS WHO INSPIRED:
I have to say that Rcubed from Random Rants by Rcubed is one of the first people (other than my immediate family) to push me to keep blogging. MorningTime4 at The Ups and Downs of my Not-So-Average Life is another person who inspires, encourages, and fangirls with me. Bryleigh McCarty at A Little Yarn Blossom was one of the first few people to really engage with me and published a blog tag with me! Rose from Self Known was the first blog that really really impressed me and made me want to learn coding so my blog could be fancy like hers. June from Impossible was one of the first people I exchanged interviews with!
MEET THE FANDOMS:
Maze Runner sort of
anything Marvel-related really
Dylan O'Brien who is responsible for like 90% of my interest in the Maze Runner movies (don't worry, I read the books waaay before the movies)
Josh Hutcherson who is now responsible for like 98% of my interest in Hunger Games movies (already read books) as the last movie kinda sucked imo
other stuffs that I'm forgetting but will remember right after you post this
SOME BLOGGER-TO-BLOGGER ADVICE:
Be yourself.Look within. The answers are there. *strums acoustic guitar* No, seriously, if you want inspiration seriously be yourself. Check out things related to stuff you like ("stuff" and "things" wow I'm so specific) and just...be inspired. I really don't know if the question is about blogging or writing or photography or any other hobby stuff, but for any of these, just think about what you like and...be inspired. To do whatever. Because it's your choice, no matter what other people say.
Thank you so much Olivia for doing this. It was so much fun getting to know you! If anyone else is interested in guest posting/sponsoring your blog, check out this post. :)
"You're gone, and it doesn't feel like summer." - Summer 2015
It is currently 12:51am on July Fourth (well, Fifth in this case) and I'm just laying in bed thinking about how confusing life is. No wonder why people describe life as a roller coaster, you never know what is going to happen- of course only if you've memorized the plans of the coaster, but life doesn't come with a guide book or even a map. You don't know how fast it'll go or when it'll take another sharp turn. You just have to hang on tightly and hope you're strong enough to hold yourself down when it comes time for the coaster to roll down a steep hill, it practically floats into the sky.
I'm sorry if you were looking for some kind of inspirational post over here, I guess you should have clicked on the next blog because I'm not exactly in one of those positive speech moods... I'm terribly missing my grandmother and it just doesn't feel like summer without her, or even Fourth of July. There is tiny hole in my heart and it will always be there until the day I get to see my Mimi (grandma) again. Gosh, life just isn't life without her. Why did she have to go? Why couldn't she stay? I'll never understand.
On a brighter note: Do you like the picture I took (above) with my iPhone? Isn't it so Pinterest worthy? ;) Sorry, I'm just kinda really proud of it. >.< Oh! And I'll post next, one of the guest posts I got a while ago. <3
Anywho, I hope you all had a wonderful Fourth of July! And I hope you're all thinking of your loved ones on this festive day. <3
