Meet The Blogger: A Guest Post (010)

Hello my beautiful readers. <3 As you can see, I've been procrastinating on these guest posts. I know, I am so incredibly ashamed of myself for posting them so late. I hope you can forgive me.

And with that said, here is a guest post by one of my lovely readers. :) It was sent in a WHILE ago, so just keep that in mind when reading.

We are actually 2 friends who co-blog (we occasionally have a 3rd friend too).

Piper: I like to take pictures and binge watch netflix, I like to sing at the top of my lungs and play my ukulele (gus) I like to laugh until my stomach hurts and sleep in my hammock in the back yard, and pretend like I'm camping. I love spoken word poetry, and basically any songs with emotions, piano music is my favorite thing ever. I adore it a lot. Above all, my goal is to Glorify God in all I do. He is the biggest part, and most important thing in my life.

Oaks: Salutations, am I the person under your bed, the nightmares you could never shake, and the darkness you're always running from?
I'm glad to say, I don't believe I am any of those.
But I suppose a little nonsense now and then is relished by the wisest men. Apologies, just breaking into some Willy Wonka.
Any who,  I am someone who prays to always be full of joy. I believe in listening to the unheard. I trust in always going into the unknown. I hope to see some righteous sights and glorify Jesus in all that I do. Also, lets talk about how much I love chickens.

We just started Oaks and Piper last week, but the idea has been a thing for a while. We want to document + inspire with our adventures as well as show that adventure is everywhere, you just have to find it. It focuses on our travelings/ writings/ strangeness that is us.

VW BUSES. Man I could talk about them forever, I am currently saving up for one. It's teaching me patience. ALSO television wise, Sherlock + Gilmore girls are my current addictions.

Make sure you're passionate about the things you're blogging about, if you need inspiration, then go outside and look at the stars. Trust me, it almost always helps me.

Thank you so much, Oaks and Piper, for your wonderful guest post! Again, I am so sorry it took me so long to get it up. It was so nice to get to know some newer bloggers. :) Their blog is aboslutely gorgeous and I suggest you guys should check it out. <3

December (Skipping Christmas)

Hello my fabulous readers. <3 This is my first post of December, and it is exactly twelve more days until Christmas Eve. Can you believe it? It feels like yesterday it was just New Years. This year went by really fast... but I'm kind of glad, because I want it to be over.

Don't get me wrong, a lot of good things happened this year, but also a lot of bad things...

And this year my family and I are, well, skipping Christmas... I know what your thinking. How could the jolliest, most Christmasy, festive family go from decorating the tree, cutting out snowflakes and hanging them all over, to... nothing? Okay, just hear me out now. We will celebrate Christmas on the 25th, but we aren't decorating (except I did put a few things up in my bedroom). It's just different without my grandma, she always made Christmas so special... So, we decided to just take a break this year. That doesn't mean I'm being a Scrooge, I am still celebrating Christmas... just on the inside rather than the outside.

And with that said... how do you like the snow on my blog? I had to change the background color because you couldn't see the snowflakes all that well... Ain't it purdddyyyy? ;) I could just look at it fall all day... *insert heart eyes here* Especially since we are probably having the warmest winter yet! It's most likely not even going to snow... at all. That makes me sad, because I always look forward to that fluffy white substance.

Anyways... this is just a little update post. I wanted to let you all know that I think I have two (or three?) guest posts submitted by a couple of my lovely readers, that I still haven't posted yet! I'm terribly sorry about that... but I promise, I will be posting them soon. Okay? You have my word.

School is almost finished, which means I will have some free time. I look forward to drawing, watching (more) Netfllix, and working on a very special project with the one and only Rosie. *whispers quietly* It may or may not be a novel, you'll just have to find out for yourself. ;)

Okay, now... Back to Netflix. I've been obsessed lately. Like, more than usual. I just finished season 2 of The 100 (OH MY GOSH- DYING) and season 1 of How to Get Away With Murder (OH MY GOSH- DOUBLE DYING), and now I'm working on finishing up all the seasons of Gossip Girl and Once Upon a Time. *takes a deep breath then exhales* ...phew, that's a lot of Netflix-ing. o-o

What are your holiday plans? Were you able to string up some lights and put up a few ornaments this year?

Hope you all have a lovely day. <3

Merry Christmas.
