My Thanksgiving Weekend

Hi guys! So I thought I would share with you some of the awesome things I did over Thanksgiving. Have a look. :)

My Thanksgiving Weekend consisted of the following:

+ Going to my grandparent's house with my family and taking a TON of selfies with my cousins.

+ Stuffing myself with stuffing. (no pun intended)

+ Playing charades.

+ Instagram-ing pictures.

+ Checking out my cousin's new apartment.

+ Planning on having a sleepover in her apartment.

+ Having a movie night afterwards and watching Captain America: The Winter Solider. ( I wished The Winter Solider was in there more. He was probably my favorite character.)

+ Camping out in the living room the next day and working on my book for Nanowrimo.

+ Creating a "bookstagram" account. Probably one of the worst possible things I could do, with being so busy, but you know... I have zero self-control.

+ Hanging out with my mom and looking up random things on the Internet.

+ Starting to Decorate the house for Christmas.

+ Checking out some of The 1975's music.

How was your Thanksgiving weekend? What was your favorites food? :)

Thanks for reading! xx

Being Thankful

Being thankful isn't just being thankful for what you have right in front of you, it's being thankful for everything you've had throughout the years. All the memories, even the bad ones, are worth being thankful for. Why? Because you're here right now, aren't you? You are stronger than you were yesterday, smarter than you were years ago. You should thank those past experiences for letting you grow, giving you knowledge that you can pass along to the younger generation.
Most importantly, you should be thankful for the life God has given you and treasure it closely to your heart. Live with a positive mind and know that things will turn out alright.

Be kind.
Be positive.
Be thankful.
Happy Thanksgiving everyone!

Hey guys! So I was tagged to do:

Let's get started, shall we? ;)

To all the people that have snow:

And even though I'm siting here   despite all the thoughts running through my head (life, college, how i'm failing Nanowrimo, food, things i need to get done, life, college, problems, love, food, etc.)   I think about the snow. How it's only near mid November and there's already an icy chill in the air. There's not a lot, but it is coming.
I also think about how that chilly white substance can take away just some of our daily pain. It gives us hope that there will be a second chance, that you can handle this. It gives us a chance to open our eyes and look at life with fulfillment.

It'll be okay.

Just enjoy snow while it lasts.

Brrrr... it is chilly outside! How many of you have had snow this week? I woke up Monday morning to a winter wonderland outside. It was very beautiful driving to class. I guess you all know that this means, right? Time to put snow on my blog!

Fangirl Note: How many have you seen the Insurgent Teaser Trailer? For those that have, I know it may seem like the trailer was based off of nothing that was in the book. Except, if you look at Chapter 30, Tris has a dream featuring her mom. It wasn't exactly like the trailer, but somehow it was similar. I don't know.

Blank Space

 Taylor Swift - Blank Space

"'Oh my gosh, who is she?'
I get d r u n k on jealousy."

I love the 'I get drunk on jealousy' because I can totally relate that.
I honestly am IN LOVE with this music video, therefore I had to share it with you guys.

I couldn't stop laughing and I love what she's wearing and the whole atmosphere, and...
I just love it. >.<

I hope you guys like it as much as I did. :)

If you had a blank space, whose name would you write?

I wasn't too impressed with it, but it gave me goose bumps... I guess I just didn't like it very much for a teaser trailer. I don't know. Thoughts?

Until text time...

where do broken hearts go?

“When our hearts break,
they break into shards that cannot be easily fit back  t o g e t h e r.”
―Cassandra Clare; City of Heavenly Fire

that book had a lot of great quotes.
*apologizes for the short post*

November + Nanowrimo + Halloween pics

photo found on weheartit and i just added the text
November reminds me that:

- Nanowrimo has started and I am participating for the first time, so wish me luck, I'm a slow writer. (I have 3,527 words so far, but it's a story I had already started writing before this month.) Are you doing Nanowrimo? If so, what will you be writing?
- I have a paper/presentation coming up (Pray that I don't shake to death or throw up. I hate speaking in front of people.)
- Reading I have lots of reading to do.
- Thanksgiving, of course we can't forget that.

As you all know, Nanowrimo is here and my novel that I'm trying to work on is just a simple story. I'm not putting too much effort into it, only enough. I'm not going to worry about whether it's entertaining or not. I'm just going to write. :) If you all need tips on staying focused, I suggest you read this post >>> here <<<

Now, let's talk about Halloween (I know I'm a little late on this). How was your spooky weekend this year? I thought that I would share with you some pictures I took, and my costume!
sorry, these were from my snapchat story...

Yes, I went as a cat... had a tail and everything. >.< This year was really fun because all of my sibling's costumes were great, as always. We weren't sure if we were going to pull it off, but we did. ;) My sisters and I were all crammed into my tiny bedroom getting ready that day, it was a lot of fun. :) Then after we went trick-or-treating (yes, I am a seventeen-year-old that still goes to people's doorsteps asking for candy), we went to Barnes and Noble and then out to eat. :)

Group photos of my siblings and cousins. :) (sorry for the quality)

Then, here is newest book I got, along with Paper Towns. I can't wait to start them. :)

And some selfies I took with my sister Lila; she went as a doll... (kinda creepy, right? but so cool!)

Okay, well, I hope you enjoyed the pictures! I gotta go write. ._.
Did any of you celebrate halloween? If so, did you dress up? :)
